Siltronic supports Singapore Scholar Sponsorship (SgIS)

Founded in 2012, the SgIS program is the only cross-sector scholarship in partnership with the Singapore government. It provides Singapore's leading organizations and young talents with a platform to support bright minds in their careers and prepare them for tomorrow's leadership. Siltronic Singapore sponsors the fields of engineering, information & communications technology and supply chain management.

The scholarship agreement was signed on August 15, 2019 in the presence of the scholarship holders and their sponsors at Siltronic Singapore. Scholars from 2018 were also invited to share their experiences and the reasons why they chose Siltronic.

At the end of the event, parents and scholars were given a guided tour of the Crystal Drawing Hall and the 200 mm factory. The tour gave the scholarship holders a great opportunity to see some of Siltronic's operations and facilities, which are equipped with the latest technology. In addition, the scientists were given a good insight into Siltronic's professional life and future opportunities at Siltronic Singapore.
