Siltronic welcomes its new apprentices in Burghausen and Freiberg

In September 2020, eight young men started their apprenticeships at Siltronic's Burghausen and Freiberg sites. Over the next three and a half years they will be trained as industrial mechanics, electronic technicians for automation technology and mechatronics engineers. This year, for the first time, an IT scholarship holder was also able to start his apprenticeship.

Siltronic is one of the world market leaders in high-purity silicon wafers and a partner to many leading chip manufacturers and the semiconductor industry. Highly qualified and long-standing employees work for the company at four locations worldwide. Trainees can expect comprehensive training with a high level of practical relevance and individual supervision by Siltronic's trainers. Siltronic wishes the apprentices a successful start to their careers.
