Dr. Joachim Manke (56) became Siltronic AG’s new CFO on July 1
Following positions at Dresdner Bank and the Degussa Group, Dr. Joachim Manke became an executive board member of Leybold AG (a Hanau, Germany-based vacuum technology company) and CFO of the Zurich-based Balzers und Leybold Group in 1990. From 2001 to 2002, Dr. Manke was an executive board member of Philipp Holzmann AG, a Frankfurt-based construction company. He then switched to Carl Schenck AG in Darmstadt, serving as both CFO/CPO and personnel director. Dr. Manke has been working for various companies as a consultant since 2004.
Dr. Manke succeeds Dr. Günter G. Koch (55), who is assuming another task within the WACKER Group. “We are pleased to have Dr. Manke, a financial expert, in Siltronic’s top management. He offers a broad depth of industry knowledge,” said CEO Dr. Wilhelm Sittenthaler. “At the same time, we thank Dr. Koch for his outstanding business performance over the past two and a half years.”
