Siltronic Corporation is based in Portland, Oregon. Here the company produces 200 mm wafers for our global electronics customers. We offer a competitive pay and benefits package developed since our start-up in 1980 to attract and retain the top talent we need.
The company frequently has the need for experienced professional staff, especially in functions such as Process Technology, Controls Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and Industrial Engineering.
Siltronic does provide some internship opportunities.
Most of these positions are filled through the MECOP Program (Multiple Engineering Cooperative Education Program) with participating universities. The company has been an active member of this program for over 25 years. Interns successfully completing an internship with the company are often hired after completing their education. Contact the Engineering Dept. of your local university to learn more.
Summer internships working as Production Operators are also available for students enrolled in college. These positions are usually announced in the spring and will be posted on this page when available.
Equipment Maintenance Technicians with experience in a similar manufacturing environment are always in demand. The company is looking for these professionals with LME electrical licenses and we prefer cleanroom experience. These positions are assigned to a set schedule of 12 hour shifts on either days or nights. This schedule of 7 working days in a two week pay period is popular with employees for the ample time off and limited number of commuting days.
We are always ready to consider Experienced Production Operators familiar with a fast paced ultra clean work environment such as ours. These positions also work the 12 hour shifts with a set assignment to days or nights. Night positions are paid an extra premium.
