On April 8, 2008, in Freiberg, Germany, Texas Instruments’ Procurement Manager, Mike Hayden, awarded Siltronic the 2007 Supplier Excellence Award. Gerhard Hagen, Siltronic’s Freiberg, Germany site President, accepted the award on behalf of Siltronic AG. Siltronic received this prestigious supplier award for outstanding commitment to quality and performance excellence in 2007. Siltronic was one of fifteen suppliers out of Texas Instruments’ 14,000 supplier base to receive this award. The purpose of this recognition is to celebrate suppliers who contribute significantly to Texas Instruments’ success. Siltronic has already won this award in 1992 and 1994.

The Supplier Excellence Awards (SEA) are part of Texas Instruments’ CETRAQ rating system. To win this award, Siltronic scored highly on performance indicators such as its ability to meet cost, environmental, technology, assurance of supply, and quality goals.

This achievement is not possible without the support of all our Siltronic colleagues. This award is a good representation of how well our global account team concept performs, and acknowledges the level of services, systems, and products Siltronic offers.
