May 22nd, at the LAM Research’s Supplier Day 2008, in Fremont, California, Greg De La Torre, Supply Chain Vice President for LAM Research, awarded Siltronic their top honors for Siltronic’s overall 2007 supply chain performance. Todd Slayton, Vice President of Sales - America, accepted the award on behalf of Siltronic AG. Siltronic received this prestigious supplier award for 100 % on time delivery performance, zero quality incidences and substantial total cost of ownership improvement. 2007 was the first year Siltronic was a supplier to LAM and it is unusual for a first time supplier to receive this award.
