The certification of this manufacturer of hyperpure silicon for semiconductor applications covers its German sites in Burghausen and Freiberg, and foreign subsidiaries in Singapore and Portland, USA.
The audits were performed by the independent assessor SGS-ICS, and had been successfully completed by March. They fully confirmed the high level of customer orientation achieved in establishing measurable process indicators in all the business workflows as defined in TS 16949. The focus on results in Siltronic’s management and innovation processes thus provides a lasting improvement in performance, and fulfills customers’ stringent demands for consistent quality and ongoing improvements in efficiency and technology.
