What happens after the e-auction?
All invited bidders will be notified, via e-mail, if they have been successful in the e-auction by the next working day.
Successful bidders are required to send a purchase order to the originating Siltronic site within 3 working days after bid award notification. The respective Siltronic site contact will follow up with the successful bidder on this.
After Siltronic issues the proforma invoice, the successful bidders will be required to
  • provide Siltronic with their chosen forwarder’s information, within the next working day, to facilitate ex-works collection.
  • make 100 % T/T payment in advance prior to product collection, & that Siltronic receives this payment within 5 working days.
The respective Siltronic site contact will provide the bank details and documentation necessary to facilitate these transactions.
Once monies are confirmed received, Siltronic will contact the successful bidders for ex-works collection of the Siltronic product.
Siltronic reserves the right to withdraw the bid award if
  • the bidder fails to issue the required purchase order within three working days after bid award notification, and / or
  • 100 % payment in advance is not completed within five working days after proforma invoice is issued.
