Siltronic Singapore Pte. Ltd. is a subsidiary of Siltronic AG headquartered in Munich, Germany. Established in 1998, the Singapore manufacturing facility was built with an investment of over USD 300 million incorporating then technologies that were well in advanced of its time. The Singapore facility is the largest 200 mm production site for Siltronic.

Located in one of the fastest growing regions in the world, the company is well positioned to serve the booming semiconductor markets in Taiwan, China and the Asean region. Besides manufacturing, Singapore is the regional headquarter for sales and applications support in Asia. Since beginning of 2004, it has also become the centre of product and process development for 200 mm wafer.

The company currently employs about 600 people with most of them in production and engineering positions. The on-going upgrading and expansion projects not only enables the fab to retain its edge as one of the most modern fabs for 200 mm wafers, but also creates new job opportunities for people within as well as outside the company.
