The perpetual search for ways to improve production facilities and processes, along with our by-product recycling and intelligent production loops, have reduced Siltronic's emissions to air, water and soil in recent years. Our integrated management system (IMS) infuses the sustainability ethos into all operating processes and serves as a tool for evaluating and monitoring “environmental quality” within the company.

Communication and information are ever more vital in our globalized world. Thus it is important to promote dialogue both within and outside the company, and stimulate an exchange of views with neighbors, customers and employees. At all Siltronic locations, current issues, fears and suggestions from the public are discussed and dealt with constructively. This includes informing the public regularly about our environmental reports and site-specific brochures.
