This way we can offer our business partners a collaboration platform (extranet) that en-ables the exchange of partner-specific information. As a result, administrative and infor-mation processes become smooth and streamlined. To ensure optimum electronic data interchange with external partners, we primarily use the international “RosettaNet” stan-dard. In some cases, though, we rely on other providers (third-party providers) to support EDI transactions, for example. Thanks to this flexibility, collaboration with partners is smooth and process-oriented, regardless of the e-business standards and backend sys-tems used. Through our membership in two international e-business organizations, EDIFICE ( www.edifice.org ) and Asia B2B ( www.asiab2b.org ), we reinforce our close collaboration with business partners.
