Educational Assistance
After six months of employment, the company pre-pays for work-related credit classes. Maximum annual benefit is limited to 5,250 USD to attend classes, including books and tuition. All level 100 & 200 courses must be taken at a Community College.
Bus Passes
Eligible employees may participate in a subsidized monthly or annual TriMet bus pass program to encourage alternative transportation to and from work.
Recreational/Entertainment Discount Tickets
Employees have the opportunity to buy advance discount tickets for many Rose Quarter sports events, concerts, and family entertainment.
Legal Services
For a modest monthly fee, employees may choose to receive assistance for legal and financial sitations through ARAG. This service includes professional guidance from experienced attorneys and financial counselors. Services offered include court adoption, divorce, guardianship, preparing a simple will, criminal misdemeanors, immigration assistance via telephone, and a discount for a state-specific immigration attorney for review, preparation, or representation pertaining to immigration services.
Home Ownership Program
After two years of continuous employment in good standing, employees may be eligible to participate in the Siltronic Home Ownership Program through HOST. The company offers "forgivable" loans up to $5,000 for qualified, first-time homebuyers who purchase a home in selected metropolitan areas.
Employee Assistance Program
Cascade Counseling Center offers no-cost confidential counseling services for employees and their immediate family members. Employees may use up to five free counseling sessions per year. The center also offers referrals to various community resources.
